Say WHAT~

Life have been really much more relaxing ever since i cleared my TP .
Now all I need to think about is the exam exam and exam :), life haven been so free and easy for a long long time.

Semester exam will be around 1 month later , so almost time to just study and plan for the holidays.
This holiday i hope to work less and go out a little bit more, for the past 1 year plus i haven really had a long break except for the times i went overseas, but every time I arrived back in Singapore, i have to work on the following day!
How tedious is that?

Whew, I am really getting bad at blogging... it took me almost 30 minutes to type those few lines.
I guess I really care less about details nowadays ...

Regarding the new blog skin I am totally kidding... no new blog skin..

No I'm just joking.. i am really planning to do it but not so soon, at least until i find 1 day i have totally nothing to do ,sitting in front of my laptop thinking what should i do now...
Then i will do my blogskin :)

Alright this post is actually here just because tomorrow is actually the new year!!!
Finally i am gonna step into the twenties, and as the saying goes, once you get into the twenties time accelerates 10 times faster....

Okay there's no such saying i made that up...
The fact is when you are in the twenties many things happen.
Like you'll get a full-time job, get married,become a parent...
I don't know but its just all the big things that happens in life, so i guess time seems to past faster.

Well maybe i should start talking about what have been happening , in case people feel excluded..

Yeah the busy weeks starts 20th December, the genting trip with my NYP mates and Hubert(Jovan's friend), 3 days 2 nights in the cloud it was really awesome time,had a early gift exchange with them and i got Jovan's present which is a mini apple speaker, which is pretty cool.
Went to cloud9 to drink and 2 of the guys got totally drunk, then the pub closed at 2.00am so the lady from cloud9 bought us to Safari for free, the place was so spacious because not much people were there but the DJ was so boring...So me along with a few friends went in for awhile and left.

Then there's the gift exchange with the NPY people , did the gift exchange at coffee bean then all of us went to Bishan to prawn. Rented 4 rods and caught around 30 over prawns.

Tired tired not motivated to blog at all..

Then yesterday woke up at 9.30am to collect my specs with wenjie and after that to work till 10.30pm or 11.00pm.
After work went to powerhouse with my bunch of friends till the club close, then got home at around 5.00am..

Woke up this morning at 2.30pm... so i am really lethargic now

Alright , so from my previous post you should know that i went for my TP test, and the results? I failed!
Other then that, everything is fine.
I came back from my Bangkok trip and school have started, quite eventful.
This few days have been smooth, hopefully all other things will work out good as well.

Next, i just have to continue to comment on how talented Jason wade is, he is BOOMZly amazing.
Haha, if i don't make fun of Ris Low it may seem like i am a mountain turtle. Yeah but to continue , with my infinite compliment for Jason Wade, his voice is seriously divine, and he look so good with a guitar.
I just have to keep replaying lifehouse's "Whatever It Takes" MTV and see him play his guitar.
Weird i know, but i can't help it when someone's music appeals to me so much... hah

Halfway through

To begin i will like to say that i have been stressed up over 2 things, number 1 is my result for my semester exam and another is my TP( traffic police test), and i am glad i got good news to share.
I have received my semester's results couple of days ago, and i passed all of my subjects . Seriously i expected worst grades, although all the grades are C's and B's and my GPA fell by 0.3 i am still really happy to remain here in the class.

Now i am just anxious,nervous and stressed up over my TP test, every time i think about it ,a picture of an grumpy old men wearing their TP uniform starring at me will fill my entire mind.
I can really imagine the stress for each candidate since there is so many TPs that day to spot any minor mistake that you make, and they will not hesitate to give you points!
Any more then 20 points and that's it, i hope that i don't commit any immediate failure, because it also means that i have to wait for another few weeks or months to book another test date.

Please! let me pass..

Belly button?

Hey! whoever is reading my blog! hello!
Ha, i just got my results and i am sure glad that i did not fail!
Puts a smile on my face, now i just got to be nervous about my Traffic police test on the 1st of October, please everyone give me your luck!
Make sure i get no immediate failure and i don't score above 18? or 20? i forgot.

On a side note, do anyone of you know what's the use of your belly button, other then the fact that you need it for the umbilical cord to transport nutrient from your mummy when your a fetus ?
Because i believe that after you are born it's just there for decoration, and of course maybe catch bits of chips that you dropped while your eating and lying at the same time.
When is the last time you cleaned your belly button?
Its a weird question, but you better do clean it!
you don't want to find maggots there one day! hah!

Drop your weapon!

Alright! finally a new post, which you maay be seeing for the next few weeks.
This post will be one of those post that will tell you how busy i am and the excuses for not blogging.

Like i said i have been extremely busy for the pass few weeks, it have just been all work and studying.
Even though i did studied, every paper that i have taken this semester is rather discouraging.
Reason being again, the lecturers gave us revision paper which is not helpful and in some way misleading,
i am not trying to push the blame on the lecturers but i am serious about this point.
Everyone is telling me that...

... ermm okay not everyone but quite a handful of people did said that!

Well on a random note, time have really slipped and it is already the 9th month of the year, i recall those goals that i set.
Those goals that i thought was really not that hard to attain, they are all gone.
Car license have turned into a bike license which i will be taking at 1st Oct 09(TP date),
my 5k in bank is unreachable, with the current pay and amount of time, there is just no way i will get 5k.
Unless maybe if i strike a lottery...
Next, a better body for beach party.. haha its a little laughable, the amount of sugar i consumed recently have been massive, I don't want to blame anyone but myself... (perhaps because of all the studying that require so much energy)
HAHA!
no i am still not blaming the exams...

Well actually this year i just want to really pass my exams, i don't wish for those crazy grades.
I just hope that i won't fail, if i fail i will be extremely demoralized , in addition i have to plan my next semester's schedule and drop out of my class.
Just thinking about it is so sad.
So i better pass my paper!

Tomorrow is my last paper, and it's the one i worry the most.
Seriously! i just want to pass.
After tomorrow i will be packed with work.
However, i have plans which includes going overseas and going tanning.
I kind of miss my red tan when i was always going to the pool.
Well i hope things go well, then i will have a happy Christmas that i look forward to every year.
This year for Christmas i have plans to laze on the couch at home with the air-con on and watch Mr bean's Christmas special the whole day.
I wish i have Starhub's cable TV , then i can watch MTV the whole day with their Christmas special's.

Gah! i feel like i have haters, is that normal?

Twitter VS Blogging

For some of you who might be reading my blog.
You probably already noticed that i have not posted any entry for quite some time.

I am here to say that although i am not posting as much as i used to, but this blog will not close down.

The thing is Twitter is really a smart and easy way for the user to express what he/she is feeling at the point of time, this gives instant updates to the web profile, and any double post on the blog will be rather redundant.
Normally i blog only when i have stored a series of event or feelings and share it all together in a single post, however now with Twitter all this feelings and event are easily shared and not stored up .Thus , explaining why most of the bloggers that i know who have Twitter at the same time started to blog less.

I ran one whole round but my point is, i am actually just busy.
I don't even twitter much since i can't do it with my phone now!

The little things that makes you happy

What is the little things that makes you happy? for me it have a lot to do with what i use to do as a kid and during my younger days. Come to think of it, actually many of it happens in the early morning! Weird,maybe it is because morning is the point of time when you decide on the mood of the whole day, so if you start off happy in the morning the rest of the day will be more enjoyable.

I love to laze around in the bed in the morning after being waken up by the alarm clock, in the end sleeping till i wake up "naturally".
This used to happen to me for a few times during my secondary school days!
I even use to do it on purpose when i am in my cousin's house, i set the alarm in the morning when i got nothing better to do the next day, in the end when the alarm rings i just switch it off and laze around a little and then go back to sleep.I know! superfluous right? i cannot believe that i actually did that as well!

Another one of those little things that never fail to make me smile is a set of warm Macdonald's pancake with orange juice and hashbrown in the morning, i love to wake up to a nice breakfast.
My dad use to buy this for us when we were really young!

Going to the arcade right out of bed is also such a precious memory. I remember once my whole family was trying to wake me up to catch a very early soccer match in Kallang stadium, i refuse to wake up until my dad said we are going to arcade now quickly wake up!
I was tricked ,so i woke up and quickly prepare to go out, as a little kid then my face couldn't hide my joy on the face, i was smiling all the way in the car until i found out that i was tricked to watch a soccer match. I always pout when i was young, so i did what i do best and pout all the way , my dad saw and brought us to the arcade after the match. I love the arcade when i was a kid because you can exchange your coupons for prizes, nowadays its not as common.

Obsessed

Mariah's new album is coming up, and its called "Memoirs of an imperfect angel"

Of course obsessed is her new single.
Album will probably be out in August or September, we just have to wait!
And i will totally buy this album!


On a side note, its good that we cleared some problems now.

Exclusiveness

Okay now i understand it, what people is truly looking for in a friendship is mostly the exclusiveness!
People just wants to feel exclusive, like when some information have to be passed, the person feel like they need to be the one to get the information first. It is this kind of exclusiveness that affirms the person that he/she is really more then just regular friends to that person.
In this context more than just regular friends does not mean boyfriend or girlfriend, it just means a closer friend that knows more about you and vice versa.

Game of life

Have been rather stressed out lately, mostly because of projects and exams from school.
Good thing most of the projects are cleared, now i just have to push in every bit of my effort in to studying for the much dreaded papers.
It's seriously mind wrecking just by the thought of it.
Looking at how stress have been growing every year,
i can only imagine what it will be like when i get out to the working world.
However strangely enough, human beings is really good at adaptation.
Sometimes i really think i am not meant for a country like Singapore, how it is so fast-paced and the laws that is always keeping us so bounded.
But i think again, its amazing how i am still going on, how i still manage.
It's all about adaptation.
I am not a master of management, and don't get me wrong this is not a post to brag about how awesome i have been doing.

This is just how the game of life works perhaps,
follow the rule, if you can't comply,if you can't adapt, choose the easiest way out.
End the game yourself , give up.

For me:
The game of life is not about how successful you become, its about how you lived your life till your very last days.

The old saying "If you can't beat them join them"
i would interpret this as:
If you can't change the world , adapt with the rest of the world.

Sigh... sad fact of life.

The new gadget

Celebrated my mum's birthday not too long ago and some of my cousins and i got her a Canon photo printer.
This is probably her coolest gadget now, the photo printer not only develops 4r size, it can also print out photos in the size of your IC.
Its just fascinating to see the blank photo go into the machine and come out with the printed picture!
It even allows user to send picture via bluetooth , and that's just what my mum have been doing for the pass few days, sending picture to print.
Well, its quite a neat gadget and its not really expensive.

Alright,some updates on my bike license, right now i have just passed my practical lesson 2 and next Wednesday will be practical lesson 3, soon i will also be taking those theory lessons to prepare for my PDL(Provisional Driving License).
So that's about it, not much to update, but updated.

Smiling for a camera

Just awhile back, i was looking through some of my older pictures from my blog.
It will always prove to me that i am not a photogenic person.
Every time i take a photo i will be so awkward,
because i know that i will either spoil the picture or i will just look bad or weird in it.
That's the main reason why i don't have much pictures other then the one from the Taiwan trip.

So just how do you smile for a camera and look good in it?

Drained to the max

For the next few months , my schedule will be so hectic that i won't even have sufficient time to rest.
Okay i shall write down on what will probably happen during the next few weeks.

Monday, school starts at 8.00am, ends at 4.00pm, probably will be motorbike lesson.
Tuesday, school starts at 8.00am ends at 4.00pm, then go to gym with the guys.
Wednesday, school starts at 9.00am ends at 12.00pm, another motorbike lesson , then to work till 10.00pm.
Thursday,school starts at 10.00am, ends at 6.00pm.
Friday, school starts at 8.00am ,ends at 4.00pm,another motorbike lesson.
Saturday, working for half a day
Sunday, another half a day of work.

I can hardly get a good 8.00 hours of sleep unless its Saturday, so tiring.
Hopefully i will be able to achieve many things and not neglect my studies, right now its already week 3 and i still have no clue what the lecturers are blabbering about.

I am just totally drained to the max,
but that also means that i am getting a lot of things done!

Risk taking

For half of my life i have been someone who always play safe.
I have always been against the idea of riding a motorbike since the accident rate is pretty high, however i have decided to go for my motorbike license, probably because of my friends influences.

So i have always tried to keep this a secret until yesterday, my brothers saw my training record booklet for class 2B on my desk. I did not expect them to look through my stuff, but my brother did just that, and he told my eldest brother.He came to me with sarcastic remark about how i always said that motorbike is bad and how i don't need my own vehicle.
But if there is one thing i've learned over the years of socializing, people do change no matter how hard you try to keep them the same as the one you knew at first.

Later that night, my mum came to me and asked about my saving. I told her that i will get pretty depleted of cash, she go on and ask why and what i spend it on. I just kept saying that it's something she won't like , she kept guessing things like guitar,game and other random stuffs.
Finally she said motorbike?
I always tries my best not to lie to anyone, so i admitted it.
The truth is i can't keep this as a secret for too long if my mum and i will be staying under one roof.
She remained calm and told me that it is not safe to drive bike and things like that, the things that i already know.
So i went on and told her that if all your life you have to play safe, what will you achieve at the end of the day?
You won't be able to experience, some of the worlds best activities just because you think that it's unsafe.
Well, just hope that she will understand better and have a peace of mind.
I do understand that it's inevitable for a parent to think that way, if one day my child wants to take up motorbike, i will also be very worried.
Well but i should not let the past restrain the future.
I shouldn't let those people whom i know had accident while driving bike, stop what my child wants to do, we only have one life , we got to live it our way, because everybody only have one life, don't let anybody stop you.

The Greatest Effort

Just this afternoon when i've reached home from school, i finally took a look at my house.
It's in a total mess and nobody even bothered to clean it up, in fact i figured that they(my brothers) just piled up another piece of worn t-shirt or jeans over the previous one that they left.
It was so bad that when i wanted to put my lunch which i bought from a nearby eatery on the table, there was no available surface.The table was filled with bills , notes and books, i was really frustrated and went insane for a moment, i threw all their books,bills ect onto 1 side of the table and i did notice that i made an expression which Dr.Lightmen from "Lie to me" will have said to be that of a person who wants to kill or hurt somebody intentionally.
It was a subconscious expression, well who can blame me?for a neat freak like me, going home with the crazy warm and humid weather, seeing everything so messed up, not being able to find a spot for my lunch on the table was the melting point. It's not like i have did anything drastic anyways.

Well so i cooled down and thought things through, if i carry on wanting things to be clean and neat i will only get even more angry with everything around me.Reason being that i am too much of a perfectionist when it come to the tidiness of the place i stay in.
So i should compromise?

However without the existence of perfectionist, where is the room for improvement?
without someone always being there to do better, would you strive for the better?
In this case my argument is very one-sided since even with me around, i know that my brothers will not make the effort to be tidier and things like that.
It's their lifestyle choices , which i don't think i have the capability to change it.
So does it mean that they should not change?

Well from my point of view, i do not think that this is a healthy lifestyle choice at all.
Why do you clean up your room when you bring girls home?
It is because you don't want them to know how untidy you are.
If you do this kind of thing you are subconsciously ashamed of your own untidiness.
Untidiness not only make things look messy, overtime your unmaintained items will start to attract pests.
You want that?

But the whole point of my argument is you don't have to be a perfectionist, but at least don't be too sloppy.

Lets take an example of a lady.
Lets say this is a average lady with a average look and average figure.
If she just do away with the whole perfectionist thing,everyday she just go to work with her unkempt hair and never brushes her teeth, do you think she will even get a job in the first place?
At least do your best, yeah that's the phrase.
Do your best to look your best, you don't have to look perfect because nobody is perfect.
Just do your best to look your best, people will feel like you've made the effort and you will also look better and feel better.

Before i go to work in 15 minutes time i have decided to do some blogging about my new semester.
This semester will probably be a tough one,
i have already attended 1 week of lectures,labs and tutorials but i have absorb only around 20%.
I do not even know what subjects am i taking this semester,
from the first week of school, the number of projects is crazy.
From next week i already have to start meeting up for project discussion.
The new timetable really sucked, i am still in holiday mood and don't really feel like studying at all.
Every Wednesday and non-studying day i also have to go to work and that includes public holidays.
Well lets hope for the better!!!

Well I just replayed a certain part of family guys certain episode many times to get the lyrics and chord of the song.
This is one of those thing that i do when i really have nothing to do at home.
Well, so the other day i went out my cousin to get us advance birthday presents.
Both of us got the same acoustic guitar but in different colors, i got mine in blue and she got hers in red.
After the purchase, we shopped around for another present for my other cousin and we got him this sleek wallet with streaks on the surface, it was indeed really sleek and i really liked it as well.
After we gotten the presents the whole day we just hanged around aimlessly , we went up to the sky garden in Suntec and tried our new guitar, because both of us are loyal fans of "Family Guy"
we probably did watch all the episodes for at least a few times. We sat there tuning our guitar and talking about Family Guy,then we were reminded of the above song in one of the episode, so we started playing "Brian comes in and it changes the tempo,Brian comes in and it changes the song" This is the earliest birthday gift i've ever received, its funny my previous birthday is closer then my next birthday and i already got a present for my birthday this year!

On a random note, i went to my class reps house the other day, it was horrible!
I took a wrong bus and alighted at a wrong stop, i walked for around 15 minutes before i decide to take a Cab to his house, on the same day when i was going home from his house, i took yet another wrong bus and alighted at another very wrong stop.
This time round i alighted 4 trains station away from my house, i walked for a total of 1 hour from 11.00pm to 12.00am before i reach my house.
Good thing i like walking.
